About the role
We are seeking a Diesel Fitter to join our Orchard Workshop.
We have large scale Pecan production with ongoing development.
The duties include:
- Maintenance of all farming plant and equipment
- Pre-season maintenance of cleaning plant
- Pre-season maintenance of harvest equipment
- To be on call, as required, to carry out maintenance on plant involved in shift work (e.g. irrigation and foliar spraying)
Qualifications in Diesel Fitting or experience
Well-developed automotive fitting and/or mechanical skills obtained in a workshop environment
Have a sound mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility with job tasks.
The ability to participate in ongoing training and be open to new ideas.
Focus on safety and quality
Ability to work in a team environment
Previous experience in an agricultural environment

What You Should Know About Our Operations
Our business is widespread, growing walnuts, almonds and bees in the Riverina Region in New South Wales, pecans in Moree and macadamias, avocados and mangoes in Bundaberg, Queensland.
Off the paddock, we operate nut processing and packing facilities in Leeton, Toowoomba and Bundaberg as well as fruit packing and processing in Bundaberg. In addition, our shared services teams (Finance, Sales, ESG, Safety and People & Culture) are located across all of our sites as well as the Brisbane, Melbourne and Griffith offices.
