3. Report any issues affecting kitchen operations to the Sous Chef immediately.
4. Ensure menu items are prepared according to recipe and quality standards.
5. Arrange, prepare, and break down buffet and food displays while maintaining high presentation standards.
Requirements:
1. Proven cooking expertise.
2. Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
3. Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
4. Effective communication skills.
5. Ability to retain verbal instructions and follow directions.
6. Basic knowledge of guest dietary requirements such as food allergies and intolerances.
7. Suitable knowledge of food safety.
8. Food Safety Certification is advantageous.
9. Industry experience in high-volume kitchen operations.
