About the role
This is a Temp to Perm 2nd Class welder position with our client located in Berrinba, a leading manufacturing company. As a Welder (MIG), you will be responsible for carrying out welding tasks using various techniques to produce top-notch metal components and structures.
What you'll be doing
* Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal materials and thicknesses
* Prepare and assemble metal components for welding
* Operate and maintain welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner
* Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely completion of projects
* Identify and rectify any issues or defects in the welded components
* Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and quality standards
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a welder, with a strong understanding of MIG welding techniques
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
