What You'll Be Doing

Singleton Hospital is a rural facility offering a range of surgical specialties, including endoscopy, general surgery, gynaecology, and orthopaedics.

You will be working within Singleton Surgical Services which is a supportive and dedicated team committed to providing high-quality care to patients before, during, and after their surgical and diagnostic procedures. The successful candidate will have the prospect to work across a variety of areas, including the surgical ward, day surgery unit, recovery, and operating theatres.

Who You Are

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong patient-centred approach in all aspects of their work. They will be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. While previous experience in a Day Surgery Unit is desirable, it is not essential. This role is well supported by the Nurse Unit Manager, senior staff, Clinical Nurse Consultant and Clinical Nurse Educators, who are committed to providing guidance and professional development to help you reach your full potential.
