Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) in supporting personnel who have sustained physical and/or psychological injuries.
The position involves applying clinical reasoning skills to develop and implement rehabilitation plans, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine functional capacity and identify areas for improvement
* Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans, setting goals and tracking progress
* Collaborate with medical specialists, treatment providers, and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive care
* Monitor and report on service delivery outcomes, ensuring alignment with ADF objectives
Requirements:
* Current registration or membership with a relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA, or AASW)
* Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy, or Social Work
* Australian Citizenship
* Strong clinical reasoning and ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams
* Passion for helping people rehabilitate and experience in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded
