Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Osborne, Australia. As a Welder, you will be responsible for undertaking tasks and duties as directed by Production Supervision and or Trades Trainer within bounds of current competence.
You will also attend and complete relevant on-the-job training as required, properly maintain materials, tools and equipment, strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes and effectiveness in the work area, and adhere to the BAE Maritime Australia policies and management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake Tasks and Duties as directed by Production Supervision and or Trades Trainer within bounds of current competence.
* Attend and complete relevant on‐the‐job training as required.
* Properly maintain materials, tools and equipment.
* Strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes and effectiveness in the work area.
* Adhere to the policies and management practices.
Requirements:
* Trade Qualifications
* Experience Fabrication with MIG or Flux Core Welding
* Ability to read drawings
* Strong safety focus and enhancing the site safety environment.
* Strong time keeping abilities.
* Excellent communication.
