An established consulting engineering firm with offices across Australia is seeking an experienced Associate Hydraulic Engineer to join their growing Gold Coast team. This is a senior technical and client-facing role offering the opportunity to work on high-quality local projects while contributing to the continued growth of the Queensland business.
About the Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will take ownership of hydraulic services design across a range of building services projects. You will play a key role in delivering compliant, efficient designs while liaising closely with clients, authorities and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Hydraulic services design for building services projects
* Preparation and review of compliant hydraulic documentation
* Liaison with local authorities, clients and contractors
* Coordination with internal engineering disciplines
* Supporting project delivery from concept through to construction
* Contributing technical expertise and mentoring where required
About You
* 5+ years' experience in hydraulic services design within building services
* QBCC Hydraulic Design License
* Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and requirements
* Proven experience delivering local Australian projects
* Wet fire design experience (desirable)
