Simply put, unleash awesome upon our people The focus of this role is to ensure that Vocus has access to the breadth of training and learning resources they need to deliver amazing outcomes for our customers. The remit spans program management, stakeholder management, and leading a team to design and deliver a comprehensive suite of impactful technical and operational training / resources. Make no mistake, this is a hands-on role that blends strategy with the joys of getting amongst the training action directly.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract. The person previously in the role has taken a secondment. Yep - that's right, we actively support the ongoing growth and development of our people.

What you will be doing day-to-day
As a hands on, sleeves up type of leader, you won't be afraid of a rapidly changing environment, and you'll genuinely love getting the job done for your stakeholders and teammates. Reporting into the Head of Learning and Organisational Development, you'll be the difference between Vocus and our competitors. In this role you will:
- Use our organisational purpose, business strategy, and values as the driving force - design, implement and lead training and learning-oriented programs of work. This will include projects and initiatives across but not limited to: localised inductions, systems, business processes, detailed work instructions, curating learning resources, and a whole host of training outcomes via the consulting-solutioning-delivery trifecta.
- Program management and coordination of all technical and operational training activity, actively delivering against it while also distributing work amongst the Technical and Operational Training team
- Develop customised training programs, resources, and materials to support objectives at organisational, divisional, team and individual levels.
- Ensure that programs, initiatives and resources are impactful and 'easy to use/implement'.
- Wrap programs of work with robust data insights and research to best position solutions for success + Prepare reports on training activity and program evaluations,
- Develop, update and maintain the full breadth of learning resources including facilitator-led sessions, detailed work instructions, reference materials
- Accountability to centralise and streamline learning resources on the Learning Management System (Dayforce) and leveraging LinkedIn Learning (where relevant)
- Undertake training needs analyses, recommending and delivering best in class training solutions
- External Partners: while most of the training solutions will be in-house, when we partner externally, this role will establish and maintain relationships with vendors to drive value and 'Vocus-ise' solutions
- Build and maintain knowledge of all systems, products and services
