Mr. Mick Winery, Cellar Door and Kitchen, is a vibrant, rapidly growing global fine wine business situated in the heart of the beautiful Clare Valley. We are looking for a vintage laboratory technician for approximately 3 - 4 months to support winemaking and grape intake functions over the busy vintage period.
Job Requirements
- Timely and accurate analysis and quality testing of juices, musts and wines
- Measuring and recording of fermentation data and enzymatic analysis
- Attention to detail, logical thought process and strong work ethic
- Ability to use initiative and operate autonomously to maintain efficient work flow
- Self-motivated with good time management skills
- An interest in wine and the winemaking process
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours over vintage (peak time, 5 to 6 days per week - 10 to 12 hours per day).
Tertiary qualifications in a science or winemaking discipline will be highly regarded and industry experience is preferred.
