Main Duties
* Managing the smooth-running operations of our liquor store(s) to the highest standards.
* Creating and enhancing our teams customer service ethos, imparting your liquor industry knowledge in the crucial areas of customer service, product display and management, team building and marketing implementation.
* Assisting other local sites with the management needs of satellite stores.
* Liaise with the team business coach in relation to any retail operational matters.
* Monitoring defined Human Resource Management Policies and Procedures
* Responsible for all retail staff
* Preparing displays and presenting stock, including specials and ticket writing
* Ensuring that staff are informed of day-to-day duties
* Pricing of stock and maintaining stock control
* Picking stock for internal transfers
* Maintain cellar or liquor store in good order with a high standard of cleanliness
* Monitoring defined staff presentation and grooming standards
* Other incidental and peripheral duties as requested by management
Experience required
* Proven working experience in retail sales
* Strong understanding of sales principles and customer servicepractices
* Solid communication and interpersonal skills
* Customer service focus; Friendly, helpful, confident, and engaging personality
* Basic administration skills
Licences
* RSA Certificate
* Driver's licence

Approximately 45 hours per week is expected in this salaried hands‐on position and will include weekends and evening work.
