Bom Funk Dance Studio — an award-winning, community-focused dance studio with state-of-the-art facilities — is seeking a passionate and versatile Dance Instructor to join our team in 2026. The role and hours can be tailored for the right candidate, with casual or part-time options.
We're looking for teachers who can instruct in more than one of the following styles:
* Jazz
* Ballet
* Hip Hop
* Acro
* Aerial
An ideal applicant:
* Has experience teaching choreography and technique to a range of ages and abilities.
* Demonstrates commitment, flexibility, and initiative, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Communicates confidently with students, parents, and staff.
* Has the ability to adhere to deadlines and an interest in continued learning and professional development.
* Implements appropriate behaviour and learning strategies within the classroom for children of all ages and abilities.
* Holds or is willing to obtain a Working With Children Check (NSW) and First Aid Certificate.
* Has reliable transport (licence preferred).
Hours: Weekday afternoons (from 3pm) and/or Saturday mornings.
Pay: Fitness Industry Award rates, based on experience. Paid meetings, training days & events.
