**Clinical Documentation Specialist Role Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Documentation Specialist to partner with our Clinical Coding team and clinicians to promote patient safety, data integrity, and financial sustainability through continuous clinical documentation improvement and accurate clinical coding.
This is a key role in optimizing activity-based funding at both the point of care and post-discharge. The successful candidate will provide advice and guidance to stakeholders to directly impact and optimise activity-based funding.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with the Clinical Coding team and clinicians to promote patient safety, data integrity, and financial sustainability through continuous clinical documentation improvement and accurate clinical coding.
* Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders to directly impact and optimise activity-based funding at both the point of care and post-discharge.
* Advise on and implement strategies to improve clinical documentation practices and reduce errors.
