Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated and organised Bid Manager to join a leading integrated services organisation. This is a hands on and varied role where you will manage tender and proposal processes, working with cross functional teams to deliver accurate, compliant, and competitive submissions. From identifying opportunities and coordinating stakeholders, to developing templates and reusable content, you’ll play an important role in supporting business growth and ensuring high quality proposals are submitted.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage tender and proposal processes from opportunity identification to submission.
- Monitor tender portals and assess opportunities aligned with organisational capabilities.
- Ensure all submissions meet compliance requirements, coordinating briefings, site visits, and Q&A; processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce compelling proposals.
- Maintain and update tender templates, content libraries, and knowledge management systems.
- Support go/no-go decision frameworks and contribute to proposal strategy development.
- Analyse tender outcomes and implement improvements for future submissions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to team members involved in proposal writing and tender processes.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate for the Bid Manager role will have previous experience in bid, tender, or proposal management, brining strong organisational, communication, and project management skills. This role suits someone who is proactive, detail orientated, and thrives in a fast paced setting where managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders is the norm.
- Essential: Previous experience in bid, tender, or proposal management, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high quality, compliant submissions.
- Ideal: exposure to integrated services, professional services, or multi-industry environments, with experience coordinating cross functional teams and contributing to strategic proposals.
- Desired attributes: A polished, professional, and collaborative individual with strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively are critical to success in this role. Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours to participate in site visits or briefings may be required.
