About the Role
Accounting Clerk – Income Auditor.
Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all revenue streams within the hotel. Audit daily financial transactions, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain compliance with accounting standards and Hyatt policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and coordinate daily banking, ensuring deposits are reflected in the bank statement the next day.
* Issue petty cash and ensure proper signature and supporting documentation.
* Keep record of credit card transaction slips and reconcile all daily credit card activity.
* Assist in credit card queries as directed by the Accountant/Shared Service Company.
* Daily check charge‑backs, investigate reasons and resolve with Front Office and Payment Gateway Company.
* Reconcile gift cards and track utilization and balance.
Qualifications
* Qualification in Finance or Accounting – highly regarded.
* Work experience in a hotel or similar large organisation – desirable.
* Strong computer skills.
