The Position
We are seeking an efficient and highly motivated Dispensary Assistant to join our Pharmacy team. In this role your day to day duties and responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
* dispensing and management of prescriptions using the Fred Dispense system in collaboration with the pharmacist to ensure accurate medication dispensing.
* Providing excellent customer service and assisting with patient/customer inquiries
* Providing technical support to the Clinical Pharmacist within the Hospital units to ensure patient's medications are available in a safe and timely manner.
* Include ordering and distribution of medications, analysis of imprest lists, as well as assessment and management of patients' own medicines throughout their admission.

* Certificate III in Community Pharmacy (Essential)
* Previous experience working as a dispensary assistant within a retail pharmacy (essential) or a hospital pharmacy (desirable)
* Demonstrated webster packing experience and use of a packing robot (highly desirable)
* High level interpersonal and communication skills but with the ability to work autonomously
* Demonstrated attention to detail and an ability to prioritise and complete tasks in a timely manner
