Paediatric Care – Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled Support Workers, Registered Nurses, and Enrolled Nurses with experience in providing PAEDIATRIC care, AIRWAY MANAGEMENT, and ENTERAL FEEDING to support a very special client in their home.
This is a continuity-focused role, ideal for someone who values building a meaningful relationship with their client and family, while delivering safe, confident clinical care.
Availability (essential)
· Fridays, Mondays: 10:00pm – 8:30am Active Overnights (must commit ongoing)
· Sundays 9:00am-2:00pm (must commit ongoing)
Additional shifts available
What you’ll be doing
· Providing specialised airway care and enteral feeding in a home setting
· Monitoring and responding to clinical risks and changes in condition
· Supporting the client and family with confidence, calmness, and consistency
· Working closely with your Care Designer and care team to ensure continuity
· Delivering care aligned with individualised care plans and clinical standards
About you
You are someone who:
· Is confident and experienced in paediatric care / airway management
· Brings a calm, reassuring presence in complex care situations
· Values consistency and relationship-based care
· Communicates clearly and proactively with families and the team
· Takes ownership and follows through — especially when it matters most
Essential requirements
· Registered Nurse (AHPRA) or Certificate III qualification in disability care
· Demonstrated experience in paediatric care
· Current Working With Children Check
· National Police Check (Aged Care / NDIS compliant)
· Ability to travel reliably to client location
· Strong clinical judgement and communication skills
