Your Role
Removal and installation of cabinets with a focus on quality and attention to detail and customer service
Study drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures, may be required to order and selecting timbers and materials, and prepare layouts
Cut materials, and assemble and naile cut and shaped parts
Erect framework, panelised systems and roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards and verifying trueness of structures
Nail fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames
Assemble prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install
Cut wood joints
May construct concrete formwork
May repair existing fittings
May work with plastic laminates, perspex and metals
Communicate with our designer and workshop to ensure accuracy with all installations
Problem solve on site with any installation issues that arise keep a clean and hazard free work place while installing at all time
Must be able to relate to all our clients regardless

About You
Min 2 years of experience as a Carpenter and Joiner (references required)
Able to read and follow technical drawing
Attention to detail is a must
Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively other tradespeople
A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
Qualified Cabinet maker or certification would be looked at favourably

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter and Joiner to join our renovation team at Capital Worx.
As an experienced Carpenter and Joiner, you will be responsible for the installation of custom-made kitchen, laundry and bathroom cabinets in our clients homes.
As we work directly with the client, you must present well at all times and be able to communicate well with the clients and your team.
This is a full-time position that will see the suitable employee drive a fully serviced vehicle as part of their salary in time.
