About the role
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Settlements Officer to join our team at Morris Finance in Geelong, Victoria. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the settlement process for a range of financial products, ensuring seamless transactions and providing exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing
* Coordinate and oversee the settlement process for a variety of financial products, including loans and leases.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders, external parties (finance brokers), to ensure timely and accurate settlements.
* Prepare and review settlement documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
* Identify and resolve any settlement-related issues or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
* Maintain detailed records and provide comprehensive reporting on the settlement process.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of settlement procedures and processes.
What we're looking for
* Demonstrated experience in settlements or related financial services role.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Proficient in the use of relevant financial and settlement software, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
* A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
* A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
