Description
An opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a complex manufacturing business
* Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support business objectives.
* Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
* Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and recommendations.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Supervise and support the finance team to achieve departmental goals.
* Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders during financial audits.
* Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across the organisation.

Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional certification (e.g., CPA or CA) is mandatory
* Solid experience in financial management within the industrial/manufacturing industry or a product/inventory related industry
* Experience within a chartered environment - audit, business services (ideal)
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in financial software and tools.
* Effective leadership and team management abilities.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
