Position Overview
This role focuses on seeking an experienced and motivated Poly Welder, (plumbing experience highly regarded) to join our team. You will be responsible for safely and effectively carrying out Poly Welding, Butt fusion / Electrofusion works, some dewatering duties, trenching & pipe laying. This is a FIFO role from Perth, working on a 2:1 roster, with hourly and fortnightly pay.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform Butt fusion & Electrofusion on piping using Welding Equipment
* Operate an IT Loader to assist with pipe movement & setup
* Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
* Collaborate with a productive crew on-site
Requirements for this role
* A valid certificate in Poly Welding (Butt Weld & Electrofusion or Extrusion welding)
* Plumbing experience highly regarded
* A minimum of 2 years of proven experience working as a Poly Welder in all aspects of butt and electrofusion welding in operator roles in relevant mine/construction sites
* Experience in using a variety of Poly Welding equipment
* Self-efficient in general earth works & welding operations
* Valid Operating Tickets
* Valid WA Driver's Licence - HR Preferable but not essential
* Valid White Card
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
