Pro Rata amount of $76,808 - $82,140 per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 2) + Superannuation

Your new role
An exciting opportunity has become available to support the Legal and Governance team through administrative tasks including filing, data entry, word processing, telephone answering, and other required tasks. You will assist with maintaining Council’s registers (legislative, financial, and administrative), and processing delegations and authorisations.
Your strong customer service skills will enable you to act as a first point of contact for policy, legal, and governance inquiries from internal and external customers. Your positive and enthusiastic attitude will help you assist others to achieve team and Council goals.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check – Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
Administration experience with a general understanding of legislation.
Team player with a positive and friendly attitude.
Ability to use judgment and initiative, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
