About this position:
We are currently seeking experienced Transport Allocators for PM shifts, starting around 6:00 PM, to coordinate FCL container movements across Brisbane and surrounding regions, including Ipswich, Inala, and Toowoomba. This role is ideal for someone with strong allocation experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Allocate trucks, including single trailers, doubles, and sideloaders
* Liaise effectively with drivers and booking staff
* Coordinate container movements across Brisbane, Ipswich, Inala, Toowoomba, and other surrounding areas.
* Maintain Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance:Speed limits, driving hours, fatigue management, vehicle/load mass & dimension compliance
* Manage and check container slot bookings and assign container numbers to relevant bookings
* Ensure timely de-hire of import empty containers to avoid penalties
* Accurate and timely completion of paperwork and data entry
* Approve driver timesheets and monitor time & attendance
* Optimize fleet operations and address over-mass or axle load issues
* Receive and coordinate vehicle fault reports with the workshop
Requirements:
* At least 2 years allocator experience.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Great leadership

* Knowledgeable and experienced with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
