CloudMarc is partnering with a major enterprise client to engage an experienced SAP ECP Payroll Test Analyst / Payroll SME.
This role requires deep functional and testing expertise across Australian payroll, SAP Employee Central Payroll, and Time & Attendance integrations.
You'll play a key role in supporting high-quality delivery across a large-scale payroll transformation.
Qualifications
5+ years (flexible) of hands-on SAP ECP Payroll experience
Demonstrated expertise with SAP Employee Central Payroll (essential)
Strong working knowledge of Australian payroll processes, awards, EBAs, and compliance
Experience working with Time & Attendance systems (UKG / Workforce Dimensions highly regarded)
Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation including ATO rules, superannuation, payroll tax, and Statewide Long Service Leave (LSL)
Experience with integration points between SAP ECP, SAP HCM, and T&A systems
Ability to analyse payroll results, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with functional/technical teams
Strong experience with test management tools (HP ALM, JIRA, Confluence)
Excellent documentation skills – test scripts, defect logs, test summary reporting
Highly organised, able to manage multiple workstreams and tight deadlines
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Responsibilities
Acting as an SAP Payroll SME to support project delivery and payroll quality assurance
Supporting and executing end-to-end SAP ECP payroll system testing
Working with the Test Lead/Test Manager to design and execute detailed test scripts for SIT, UAT, regression, and parallel payroll testing
Identifying, documenting, and managing defects through to resolution, including retesting and validation
Ensuring alignment with compliance requirements, internal controls, and audit standards
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate integrations and data flows across SAP and third-party systems (including UKG/WFD)
Providing clear testing insights, status updates, and risk recommendations to project leadership
Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with all relevant payroll, legislative, and organisational policies
