Senior Landscape Architect – GHD

We seek a Senior Landscape Architect to join our GHD Design team in Perth. The role focuses on innovative, site‑sensitive landscape designs across transportation infrastructure, townsite revitalisation and public realm projects, ensuring sustainable outcomes and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with architecture, engineering, environment and planning teams to create efficient and cost‑effective landscape solutions that meet client briefs.
* Take independent ownership of concept and technical design packages for a wide range of projects.
* Assist with day‑to‑day commercial management of landscape design commissions to meet time and budget targets.
* Supervise, share knowledge and mentor less experienced team members, delegating tasks to support team growth.
* Perform all phases of the design process, including concept, development, documentation, specification and report writing.
* Interpret and apply client, industry and GHD standards, codes and best professional practices.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or equivalent.
* AILA registration highly desirable.
* Solid understanding of Western Australian environmental conditions and appropriate plant knowledge.
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and relevant CAD programmes; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
* Proven project delivery and project management skills – including time, cost and resource management.
* Self‑motivated, enthusiastic and eager to work in multidisciplinary teams.
* Aptitude to lead and provide landscape architectural inputs on large, multi‑staged projects.
* Experience writing proposals and contributing to submissions.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal teams, stakeholders and clients.
