PERSOL is partnering with a well-established company to hire a Lead Electrical & Instrumentation Project Engineer to lead large‑scale industrial projects. This role is perfect for someone passionate about technical leadership, problem‑solving, and high‑impact delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for industrial projects.
* Plan, budget, and deliver projects on time, maintaining high‑quality standards.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate all project activities.
* Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications, drawings, and reports.
* Offer technical support and innovative solutions during project execution.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and industry standards.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
* At least 10 years' experience in electrical or instrumentation roles across chemicals, manufacturing, or resources industries.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects from start to finish.
* In‑depth technical knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
* Familiar with Australian and international standards for electrical and instrumentation systems.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and other common engineering tools.
* Self‑motivated and able to work effectively both independently and in a team.
