We are currently seeking an experienced Culinary Professional to join our kitchen team in Bathurst.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, directing and controlling food production to high standards. This includes operating within state guidelines for food handling, discussing food preparation issues with the team and maintaining consistency and quality in taste, presentation and food temperature.
Key responsibilities include ensuring proper storage and recycling of leftovers, managing food costs and assisting in creating new menu items.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar environment is required.
* Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or higher is mandatory.
* Necessary certificates and qualifications must be held.
