Join one of Queensland's fastest-growing Caravan dealership groups. MainEvent RV Centres, part of the Pickering Group of Companies—one of Queensland's largest privately owned retail groups comprising of over 30 companies—specialising in vehicle and caravan retail across multiple locations.
We're seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our finance operations and support strategic growth from our Arundel MainEvent RV headquarters.
What You'll Do
Oversee all accounting functions across multiple dealerships.
Deliver accurate monthly reports, P&Ls;, budgets, and forecasts.
Manage cash flow, compliance (BAS, GST, payroll tax), and audits.
Maintain vehicle stock control, floorplan finance, and costing.
Lead month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, and reporting.
Partner with banks, auditors, and finance providers.
Support payroll, HR compliance, and supplier management.
Optimise systems and reporting using the dealership management system (DMS).
Manage the administration team.
What You'll Bring
A commercial acumen to provide insights into operational performance and vision for the finance function.
Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CA preferred.
5+ years in senior accounting or financial management.
Dealership, automotive, or caravan industry experience preferred.
Understanding of floorplan finance and vehicle DMS/ERP systems preferred.
Detail-driven with excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
