Delivering high-quality vehicle maintenance is essential in Regional NSW, and we require experienced professionals to meet this need. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults, servicing and maintaining equipment of the fleet while working to tight schedules and maintaining the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough inspections and assessments on vehicles as required, completing relevant documentation, and perform tasks at the highest standard possible.
* Assist with planning and maintaining service schedules, taking ownership of major repairs and working efficiently to maintain a clean and safe environment.
* Diagnose and repair faults and defects in vehicles, using solid knowledge of drivetrain, brakes, and suspension, along with truck servicing ability.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience as a general Mechanic, coupled with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Solid knowledge of heavy vehicle mechanics, earthmoving equipment, and auto electrical systems.
* The ability to work autonomously, following direction and contributing to a fast-paced environment.
* A strong commitment to Work Health and Safety, being physically fit for heavy work.
