Bayonet Head Early Learning Centre is looking for a Assistant Centre Director. Reporting to our Centre Director, come work at our 72 place brand new centre.
Key Responsibilities
On the Floor
* Support educators through mentoring, modelling best practice, and fostering positive team culture
* Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families
* Oversee room practice to ensure high-quality educational programs
* Ensure compliance with NQS, EYLF, centre policies, and all safety requirements
* Step into rooms when needed to support ratios and the team
In the Office
* Assist with enrolments, tours, family communication, and staff management
* Maintain accurate records, compliance documentation, and administrative tasks
* Support rosters, staff scheduling, and general centre organisation
* Collaborate on Quality Improvement Plans and centre goals
* Contribute to staff management, including inductions, training, and performance support
* Work closely with the Centre Manager to ensure smooth operation of the service
* Step into the centre manager role if the manager is absent
Qualification Requirements
* Diploma or Working Towards Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
* Experience in a leadership or senior educator role (Assistant Manager/2IC experience highly regarded)
* Current Working with Children Check
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
* Solid understanding of NQS, EYLF, and regulatory requirements
