As we continue to grow, we're seeking a motivated and organized Tiling Retail Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Tile Samples Setup & Management**:
- Organise, arrange, and display tile samples in the showroom to be delivered to the clients and to ensure an attractive, well-maintained, and easily accessible display.
- Ensure that tile samples are consistently stocked and rotated based on demand and trends.
- Regularly review sample stocks and arrange for replacements or additional quantities to meet customer needs.
- Urgent deliveries and pick up of samples are required occasionally.
**Requesting Tile Samples from Suppliers**:
- Maintain communication with our tile suppliers to request new and updated samples, ensuring we have a diverse range of options available for customers.
- Track and manage sample requests, including coordinating deliveries and follow-ups with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of requested items.
- Keep accurate records of sample orders, deliveries, and stock levels.
**Forklift Operation (preferred)**:
- Safely operate a forklift to assist in moving tiles and/or samples, materials, and products within the warehouse and showroom.
- Unload deliveries and assist with the organization and storage of products.
- Ensure that stock levels in the warehouse are properly maintained and report any discrepancies to the manager.
**General Administrative Support**:
- Assist with daily operational duties and support the team as required.
**Safety & Compliance**:
- Adhere to safety protocols when operating machinery like forklifts and ensure that all safety standards are followed in the warehouse and showroom.
- Keep the work environment clean, safe, and organized at all times.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Prior experience in retail administration, warehouse operations, or a similar role is preferred.
- Forklift certification is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Physical stamina to handle lifting and moving heavy materials when needed.
- Experience or interest in the tiling industry is an advantage but not essential.
