Our company specialises in the production and installation of solid core and fire rated doors for commercial building sites across NSW, located on the Central Coast NSW.
The Role:
The Factory Manager will provide strategic and hands-on responsibility for implementing the manufacturing strategy. You will provide clear leadership for the factory team to reach weekly targets whilst maintaining quality control and safety.
Main responsibilities include:
· Overall responsibility for manufacturing doors across the various workstations within the factory.
· Hands on role where you will be moving between hot pressing of doors, trimming doors and CNC operations.
· Plan and execute maintenance activity to ensure the plant is kept safe and compliant.
· Forecasting to Operations Manager of expected completion dates for each order.
· Arranging loading and planning of delivery trucks.

Requirements:
· Previous senior leadership experience across a high performing manufacturing operation, ideally in timber building materials.
· Previous CNC wood experience would be desirable.
· Proven factory floor level management and ability to tackle operational level issues.
· Excellent understanding of safety systems and enforcement of safety rules and policies.
· Proven history of increasing productivity while improving culture.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
