Job Title: Statewide Renewals Planner

About the Role
We have a fixed-term opportunity for a skilled planner in our Statewide Renewals team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an asset class portfolio and providing recommendations for prioritised asset replacement, based on asset condition, asset risk, and levels of service.
This role is ideal for those with experience in asset management, project management, or planning in any field. You will contribute to making Western Australia a great place to work and live by working with a high-performing team.
The role is based in our Leederville office, reporting to our Team Leader - Statewide Renewals.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to an integrated planning approach across the business to enable optimal decisions around timing and scope of investment, risk management, and customer service levels.
* Translate asset management objectives into plans for investment to achieve an optimal balance between cost and risk and the specified level of service.
* Improve the "Asset Class Management Plans" that integrate planning, maintenance, and delivery opportunities.
* Manage the asset condition assessment program for scope and cost of the relevant asset portfolio.
* Develop investment programs, business cases, and projects with deliverables that mitigate risk and meet the investment objectives.
* Scope and specify capital projects and operating work packages to enable service providers to meet relevant asset portfolio investment objectives.
Requirements
* Hold a degree or diploma qualification in an engineering discipline or similar.
* Have experience in asset management or the planning, design, acquisition, or operational delivery of asset investment programs.
* Background in planning, with water, wastewater, or drainage infrastructure highly desirable.
* Able to build and drive positive and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders.
