Located in Parramatta with flexible working arrangements available
Salary ranges from $99,938 - $110,271 p.a. (plus superannuation and annual leave loading)
About the role
The Assurance Support Officer provides operational and administrative support to the manager and team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality customer service.
The role involves implementing administrative improvements during periods of changing organisational priorities and proactively facilitating clear, open, and effective communication between the manager and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
The role works within the Schools Assurance team, who supports school compliance and assurance activities by working closely with corporate States offices, schools, and external vendors to promote effective governance, risk management, and continuous service improvement.

About you
Experience providing effective administrative and operational support to managers and teams.
Ability to prepare and coordinate presentations, correspondence, briefing notes, and reports using IT systems with a light level of attention to details and a fast learner.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with experience liaising with internal stakeholders, schools, and external vendors.
Demonstrated experience maintaining accurate records in line with policies, governance requirements and organisation's preferred record keeping system.
Ability to manage competing priorities, deliver multiple work items concurrently, and contribute to continuous improvement during organisational change.
A driver's license and willingness to visit schools would be highly desirable.
Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment
Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
