South Coast Pipe Welders (SCW) is offering 2026 Apprentice Boilermaker positions for motivated young people who want to learn a trade, work on real industrial projects, and earn while they learn.
What You'll Learn
As an SCW Apprentice Boilermaker, you'll gain nationally recognised training and practical experience, including:
* Welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and fabrication skills
* Reading and interpreting drawings
* Working with steel, structural components and industrial equipment
* Safe work practices in line with ISO standards
* Problem-solving and teamwork on real worksites
* Exposure to major heavy-industry clients across the Illawarra
What We're Looking For
You don't need experience — just the right attitude.
We're looking for students who are:
* Currently completing Year 10 in 2025 (Year 11 students may be considered)
* Keen to learn a hands-on trade
* Reliable, punctual and willing to put in the effort
* Safety-minded and able to follow instructions
* Physically capable of workshop and site work
* Positive team players with a strong work ethic
