Clinical Regional Manager (Community Development)
The Shepherd Centre (TSC) is a highly regarded not-for-profit, providing specialised programs for children with hearing loss and their families. Our programs meet the needs of children of all ages; from our world-leading early intervention program for babies and toddlers, through to our mentoring program 'Hear for You' for school-aged children and teenagers. We have been empowering generations of children with hearing loss to listen, speak and have a voice for over 50 years, creating a world of choice and amplifying possibility.
TSC currently supports over 900 families all over Australia, providing in-person and online support from 10 locations across NSW, ACT, Queensland and Tasmania. Our global platform HearHub, supports health professionals working with children with hearing loss all over the world.
About the role
As we continue to grow and reach more children and families, we have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Manager – Clinical Services and Community Development to join our clinical management team.
In this 12-month fixed term, full-time role (38 hours per week), you'll lead the day-to-day operations, growth and performance of our Liverpool and Oran Park centres. You'll oversee a skilled multidisciplinary team of
Listening and Spoken Language Therapists (Speech Pathologists), Audiologists, Child and Family Counsellors
and
Clinical Administration staff,
ensuring families receive high-quality, coordinated and compassionate care. The role includes full people leadership responsibilities across the team.
Alongside clinical leadership, you'll play a key role in community development – building partnerships with community groups, health providers, schools and government services to raise awareness of TSC's programs across South West Sydney. You'll also collaborate with our Fundraising and Marketing team to strengthen community engagement and provide insights on emerging needs and opportunities.

Responsibilities day to day include, but are not limited to:
Regional Management
Provide overall leadership for your centre to ensure sound clinical service delivery outcomes.
Maintain high quality service delivery for our families and clients by supporting continuous improvement strategies and aligning systems and operations with leading evidence based clinical practice.
Ensure all of our current and new services are accessible and funded as optimally as possible to families.
Oversee and facilitate the journey for eligible families through the NDIS and supporting case managers to develop, coordinate, review and finalise clinically appropriate service recommendations and service agreements.
Facilitate a positive, engaged, aligned and committed high-performing centre team, through strong collaboration and connection.
Community Development
Build partnerships with community groups, health providers, schools and government services to raise awareness of TSC programs across South West Sydney.
Identify opportunities to increase referrals and community engagement.
Represent TSC at local events and forums to strengthen our community profile.
Collaborate with Fundraising and Marketing to support local initiatives and share insights on community needs and trends.

A relevant tertiary clinical qualification.
Previous experience leading and developing a team of experienced Allied Health professionals.
Solid understanding of budgets, resourcing and operational requirements involved with running a small to medium sized clinical practice.
A desire to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary clinical environment.
Sound knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Strong understanding and passion for evidence based and family centred practice.
Excellent stakeholder relationship management capabilities (internal and external).
Strong planning and organisational skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Passion for working with children and supporting their families
Ability to work flexibly and resourcefully in a busy environment
Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain these.
