The Wash Plant Operator is a crucial role that supports the Train Presentation team by coordinating and carrying out train cleaning operations at Rolling Stock Depot facilities.
This position involves working closely with train drivers and liaising with Train Operation staff to safely bring trains into the wash facility via the corridor. In addition to routine external train wash cycles, the Wash Plant Operator is also responsible for assessing and managing trains requiring additional exterior cleaning due to unexpected incidents on the network.
