The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiasticfull-time Sales Representativeto join the Vickery Group.
This is a newly created role, offering you the exciting opportunity to shape and define the sales strategy for both our brands.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving sales and building lasting relationships with new and existing clients for both Vickery Holdings and Fence Hire Australia.
You will be a key player in our growth, contributing to our continued success and helping to support our community's infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the Toowoomba region.
Generate new leads and identify sales opportunities for both reinforcing steel and temporary fencing.
Provide product information, technical support, and quotations to clients.
Understand client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Negotiate and close sales effectively, ensuring client satisfaction.
Collaborate with our internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and timely delivery.
Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports on sales activities.
Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
Represent both brands at industry events, promoting the full range of Vickery Group services.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the construction, building materials, or a related industry.
A strong dedication to providing exceptional customer service and a track record of building lasting client relationships.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, results-oriented approach with a strong ability to meet sales targets.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A genuine interest in the construction industry and a willingness to learn about both reinforcing steel and temporary fencing solutions.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
