An chance exists for an experienced Support Coordinator to be a crucial part of our team, working with NDIS participants to achieve their goals.

Windarring has been delivering disability services in central Victoria for nearly 50 years, providing a range of community participation, employment support, training, and accommodation services.
The Role:

The Support Coordinator provides direct support to NDIS clients and their families to implement the funded supports in their NDIS plan. The role provides specialist NDIS advice, linking to any necessary mainstream and community supports, and building people’s capacity to navigate the NDIS, resolve crises and develop resilience. You will work collaboratively to solve problems for our NDIS clients.
To be successful in the role you will have:
Experience in care coordination, case management, support coordination or similar
Person centered skills which are demonstrated in respect for participants as valued members of their community and through understanding their goals and aspirations
The ability and commitment to respond professionally and timely
Highly developed report writing, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to competently communicate with internal and external networks
· Highly motivated with the ability to work creatively, autonomously and cooperatively as a member of a team
High standard of professional integrity and accountability with an ability to demonstrate and authentically promote our values
About you:
You will be a driven and energetic professional. You are a people person focused on building and maintaining strong relationships.
Preferred tertiary qualification in human services or related fields
Understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), together with a demonstrated capacity to adhere to NDIS guidelines and compliance principles, would be an advantage.
Experience working with people with disabilities and strong understanding of how disability can impact on a person's life.
Demonstrate problem solving skills and ability to link with the community, funded and mainstream services.
Ability to work in a sensitive, complex, and demanding environment with a high degree of autonomy and self-management.
Ability to prioritise and manage own caseload daily.
