Our software stack handles trillions of input/output operations every day from Azure Virtual Machines and runs in hundreds of data centers and over one thousand clusters.
We own the entire software stack on the Azure host that is responsible for handling virtual machine input/output operations, various caching mechanisms, throttling controls, Quality of Service for Azure Virtual Machines, multiple transport layers, and encryption of data both in transit and at rest.As a Senior Software Engineer in our team, you will design and implement software components to enable and optimize the storage solutions in the Azure fleet.
The software components you deliver include device drivers and system software, installation and diagnostic tools, libraries, telemetry services and comprehensive testing.
You will collaborate with developers across Microsoft, and Software & hardware partners to deliver innovative technology.
