About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop RF communication systems for lunar surface platforms
* Integrate RF subsystems into spaceflight hardware and robotic systems
* Design, simulate, and test antennas for space-based applications
* Conduct hardware validation, including link budget analysis, EMI/EMC testing, and radiation tolerance assessment
* Support the manufacture and assembly of RF components and circuit boards
* Collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure end-to-end system performance
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex RF system issues
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
* 3+ years of industry experience in RF systems design and testing
* Demonstrated experience in RF circuit and PCB design
* Familiarity with modulation schemes, RF filtering, impedance matching, and communication protocols
* Experience with testing and qualification standards, including EMI/EMC and radiation effects
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to lead and guide RF hardware development
Desirable Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a startup and/or aerospace environment
* Flexibility to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-moving setting
* Experience with radiation-hardened RF components and upset mitigation techniques
* Knowledge of space communication standards and regulatory compliance
