About the Role
We are seeking a Hatchery Technician to fulfil a temporary role for approximately five months. The position is based at our Hatchery in Arno Bay on the beautiful Eyre Peninsular, South Australia. The position is available immediately with onsite accommodation provided.
Responsibilities include monitoring water quality, feeding fish, assisting with fish grading, and performing routine husbandry tasks. The role requires a practical, hands-on approach and a flexible attitude.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Hatchery Technician or experience in a similar environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with fish grading and movement
* Water quality monitoring
* Cleaning tanks and sock filters
* Feeding fish and other routine husbandry tasks
Qualifications/Experience
* Relevant Aquaculture experience preferred
* Relevant qualifications an advantage
* Ability to work effectively as part of a cohesive team
