About Us We are a globally headquartered, fast-scaling technology company specialising in advanced grid software solutions that support the transition to smarter, more resilient energy networks. As we expand across Australia and the wider APAC region, we are seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager / Director to lead our regional growth.
The Role This is a key strategic hire to establish and scale our presence across Australia and APAC. You will be responsible for developing and executing the regional go-to-market strategy, with a strong focus on building long-term, high-value relationships with utilities, including Distribution Network Operators (DNSPs) and equivalent organisations across the region.
You will combine strategic leadership with hands‑on execution—identifying opportunities, shaping solutions, and closing complex deals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a regional sales strategy across Australia and APAC
Build, nurture, and manage relationships with utilities, DNOs, and key energy stakeholders
Identify and convert new business opportunities within grid, utilities, and energy markets
Lead complex, consultative sales cycles from initial engagement through to contract close
Work closely with global product and technical teams to localise solutions for regional needs
Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and client engagements across APAC
Provide regional market insights to influence product development and commercial strategy
About You
Proven success in B2B sales within energy, utilities, or grid technology markets in APAC
Strong network within Australian utilities and/or broader APAC energy sector
Experience selling software, SaaS, or digital solutions into complex organisations
Strategic mindset with the ability to execute and deliver revenue growth
Comfortable operating in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
