About the Centre Cook Role:
The Centre Cook is responsible for preparing healthy meals that fuel young minds and bodies. This role requires creativity, organisational skills, and attention to detail to plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals that account for special dietary requirements and allergies.
* Use creativity and organisational skills to plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
* Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling, and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic.
About You:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who has a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting. You will work a part-time roster of 27.5 hours per week (5.5 hours daily Monday to Friday), with no night shifts, split shifts, or weekend work.
