**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Power system studies required for connection compliance, design and feasibility assessments.
- RMS and EMT model development and reviews in accordance with AEMO's modelling guidelines.
- Testing and commissioning for transmission, distribution and generation assets.
- Negotiations with AEMO, NSPs and project stakeholders.
- Due diligence review for developers and projects' stakeholders.
- Mentoring and training graduate engineers.
- Day to day grid connection team management and leadership.
- Supporting NSP in network planning and asset management activities.
- Prepare bids and proposals.
- Communicate effectively with the wider team and project stakeholders, including customers.
- Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance if required.
- Participate in internal review meetings.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in power systems.
- Demonstrated understanding of power system analysis, control systems fundamentals, primary and secondary design of transmission and distribution systems including control systems in IBR based generating systems.
- Advanced ability in using PSSRE, PSCAD, and PowerFactory.
- Experience in RMS and EMS model development in accordance with AEMO's modelling guidelines including generator and customer connection process and requirements.
- Knowledge of network connection and access rules, regulations, and AEMO's technical guidelines.
