The Role:
Millennium is currently seeking a professional, reliable, and experienced Security Officer and Control Room Operator to join our team at Westfield Carindale. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic group of skilled and motivated professionals in a supportive environment.
At Millennium, you'll be joining one of Australia's leading Integrated Services companies, where your contribution truly makes a difference.
We have two full time positions available for days and nights at 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Key Responsibilities:
* Patrolling designated areas to ensure the safety and security of people and property
* Providing a professional and courteous customer service experience
* Adhering to all relevant security protocols and procedures
* Respond to emergencies, alarm events, calls for assistance and provide the necessary support.
* Assess and respond to situations of risk.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A valid Security License (Unarmed, Crowd Control and Monitoring preferred)
* Basic First Aid and CPR certification
* Proficiency in CCTV operations and EACS systems
* Previous experience in a retail environment (highly regarded)
* Availability for day/night and weekday/weekend shifts
* A good level of physical fitness (patrols are part of the role)
* Reliable transportation (preferred).
* The ability to follow instructions and work independently
* Strong attention to detail
* A proven track record of reliability and punctuality
You must have valid work rights in Australia.
