Your new role
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide consultation and support to ensure all departmental managers and key stakeholders have a sound understanding of the standards and legislative requirements to achieve the company's periodic certification in line with the QHSE Governance Matrix and comply with relevant QHS legislation
- Coordinate activities and practices to achieve the company's domestic and international customer, supplier and industry body certification requirements
- Co-ordinate the periodic review and update of all QHS related policies and procedures in collaboration with the HR & QHSE Manager.
- Support QHSE objectives across the organisation, ensuring business wide operations adhere to such policies and procedures via internal audit processes
- Report on QHS performance and status of all activities periodically to the HR & QHSE Manager
- Champion and educate all departments and team members to contribute to the company's QHSE Systems in line with individual responsibilities.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- An understanding of food safety standards SQF and/or BRC
- Experience in domestic and international legislative and accreditation requirements, Food Safety, Quality and OHS requirements with an ability to identify improvement opportunities and develop continual improvement programs.
- Organics certification requirements for Domestic and International markets would be desirable
