Job Description
The role of a development lead involves overseeing the development program and budget to achieve optimal project outcomes.
Key responsibilities include managing all aspects of grid, resource, economics, contracting, land and approvals, as well as stakeholder relationships with First Nations, community, landholders, neighbors, and relevant government departments/corporations.
Due diligence must be undertaken on new project opportunities for viability of inclusion in the development portfolio.
Tenders must be run and contracts negotiated associated with construction and O&M.
Early works must be managed to meet safety, compliance, quality, cost, and time targets.
Relevant consultants engaged to support the project's development must also be managed.
Project status must be reported to management, the Board, and relevant external parties.
A safe working culture must be promoted, and the safety of all personnel engaged in the construction of the project must be managed.
* Manage the overall construction program and budget to achieve the project's objectives.
* Manage the project's compliance with approvals, licenses, and authorisations.
* Manage the grid connection process in conjunction with specialist consultants and project partners to achieve target dates and generation profiles.
* Manage project claims and contractual matters.
* Manage project stakeholder relationships including First Nations, community, landholders, neighbours and relevant government departments/corporations.
