About the role
Millstream Paediatric Developmental Services' is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Clinical, Neuropsychologist, Educational & Developmental Psychologist or Registrar Psychologist to join our team on a contract or permanent basis.
This role will be based in Mount Pleasant WA 6153 and will play a pivotal part in supporting our clients with neurodevelopmental assessments.
What you'll be doing
* Conducting comprehensive neuropsychological and developmental assessments for children and adolescents within a multidisciplinary assessment team comprising speech pathologists and a paediatrician.
* Collaborating with a full multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised assessment plans.
* Participating in case conferencing and liaising with stakeholders.
* Preparing detailed assessment reports.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with professional standards.
* Clinic-based assessments, as well as opportunities for state-wide assessment exposure.
* If desired, provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
What we're looking for
* Postgraduate degree in clinical, neuropsychology or education & developmental psychology.
* Full registration as a psychologist with AHPRA.
* Demonstrated experience in conducting paediatric neuropsychological and developmental assessments.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong ethical practice and exceptional case formulation and report writing skills.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field.
* Availability for intermittent regional assessments (completed as a team).
