Account Director – Microsoft Cloud Services
Sydney | $220k base + super | $400k OTE
We're partnering with a Microsoft-focused cloud services business that is experiencing strong growth across Australia and is expanding its senior sales team in Sydney.
This is a
pure Account Director role
, ideal for someone who started their career in a
technical / pre-sales capacity
(Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, Pre Sales Engineer, etc.) and has since moved into sales – or is ready to make that transition now.
The Opportunity
We have
two roles available
:
1 - Account Director – Existing Accounts (Cross-sell / Upsell)
Focused on growing and expanding an established portfolio of customers across cloud, security and managed services.
2 - BDM – New Business
A greenfield role focused on landing new enterprise and mid-market customers across the Microsoft ecosystem.
Both roles are Sydney-based and sit within a high-performing, technically strong sales organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
* Owning the full sales cycle across Microsoft-centric cloud solutions (Azure, M365, Security, Modern Workplace)
* Translating complex technical solutions into clear commercial outcomes for customers
* Working closely with architecture, delivery and engineering teams to shape solutions
* Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders (CIO, CTO, Head of IT, etc.)
* Managing long-term customer value, not just one-off deals
What We're Looking For
* Background in
Presales, Technical Consulting, Solutions Architecture or Engineering
* Experience selling (or strong desire to move into selling) cloud and Microsoft solutions
* Strong understanding of Azure, Microsoft 365 and modern cloud architectures
* Commercial mindset with the ability to own pipeline and revenue outcomes
* Comfortable engaging at C-level and running complex sales conversations
* Sydney-based (hybrid working available)
