Contractor Rehabilitation Consultant – Flexible Locations

We’re seeking experienced Contractor Rehabilitation Consultants to deliver high-quality vocational rehabilitation services across a range of schemes including workers’ compensation, CTP, and government-funded programs across the following regions:
- Newcastle
- Coffs Harbour
- Port Macquarie
- Lismore
- Dubbo
About the Role
As a contractor, you’ll enjoy autonomy and flexibility while making a meaningful impact. You’ll work with clients experiencing injury, illness, or disability—supporting their recovery and return to meaningful employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional and vocational assessments
- Develop and implement tailored return-to-work plans
- Provide counselling and support for physical and psychological injuries
- Liaise with employers, insurers, and health professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet compliance standards
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy or a related field.
- Relevant professional registration with APHRA or ESSA.
- Significant experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation and proven track record of working as a contractor with similar organizations.
- Strong communication and case management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.
- Full driver’s licence and own vehicle.
As a Contractor you will be required to provide the below
- Professional Indemnity
- Public Liability
- Workers’ Compensation, or if do not have Workers’ compensation either: Personal Accident OR Income Protection Insurance which covers injuries.
